I have my own aesthetic – that’s why a couple comes to me – but the wedding
we create has to reflect who they are. When you walk into their wedding,
I want you to notice their great taste. It’s all about them … not me!
— Paula Laskelle

The very first thing I want to do is to get to know you.  Only then can I make recommendations for a wedding that reflects who you are.  Then the planning fun begins - it’s important to me that you enjoy the planning journey!

From a file I have which is overflowing with amazing thank you notes from my clients, I find that there are commonalities running through all those notes.  Here’s what those commonalities are:  calm (even under pressure), kind, comforting, patient, detailed, knowledgeable, organized and very responsive.

all while you retain complete creative and financial control.

I’ve been a wedding planner for quite some time and am honored to be referred by the finest resorts in the southern California coastal area, but there’s no greater honor than when I’ve been called to do a 2nd, 3rd or 4th wedding for the same family.  That warms my heart.

In 2016, California Wedding Day magazine named one of my weddings among the ‘16 best real weddings of the year.’  Of the 16 that were named, my wedding was ranked #3.

Other honors I’ve received have included being presented with the Coordinator of the Year award by the Association of Bridal Consultants and being given the Award of Excellence by the Wedding International Professionals Association.  I’ve also been awarded the Couple’s Choice Awards™ each year since 2011 by Wedding Wire because I’ve has received all 5-Star reviews on their site.

I take a limited number of clients each year in order to give my clients the high level of attention and service that they deserve.

I felt like your only client for over a year.
